Module 10 Lesson 2

Your essay will be scored by two graders.  A score of 1-6 will be assigned to four areas according to a scoring rubric.  These categories are: ideas and analysis, development and support, organization, and language use and conventions. These scored will be averaged for a total combined score of 2-12.

Make sure to read and familiarize yourself with the Optional Writing Test Rubric that was included with your baseline ACT practice test. This will give you a good understanding of how the Optional Writing Test is scored. Remember to make your essay easy to grade. That means that you should keep it neat, concise, and use proper punctuation.
